history of the
hawkins county library system
The Surgoinsville Public Library was established for the Hawkins County Library System in 1993.
The Surgoinsville Medical Board built the building of approximately 2600 square feet for the citizens of Surgoinsville to have access to books, audios, DVDs and magazines. In 2020, a reading shelter/pavilion was built and donated to the library by AGC Glass Company. It is behind the library and is used for special events. |
