Surgoinsville Public Library

The Surgoinsville Public Library was established for the Hawkins County Library System in 1993. The Medical Board built the building of approximately 2600 square feet for the citizens of Surgoinsville to have access to books, audios, videos, DVDs and magazines. The Library also offers access to 5 public computers, fax services, copier, an adult book club , and children’s story time every week. In 2020, a reading shelter/pavilion was built and donated to the library by AGC Glass Company. It is behind the library and is used for special events.
