This presentation will be streamed live in our programming space. This event is free and open to the public. No advance registration is required!

The Church Hill Public Library has been awarded a Tennessee Aquarium Virtual Program paid for by the Tennessee State Library & Archives.

The Tennessee Aquarium is very excited to offer an ocean themed summer outreach program called “Shaping Our Oceans”. This program is developed for all grade levels. “Shaping our Oceans” will explore different levels of life within our oceans and our connections with the Gulf of Mexico. Starting with coral reefs, we learn how different animals work together within their ecosystems. We get to know our apex predators and what their presence means. We discuss the importance of limiting the amount of plastic in our oceans even while living 100’s of miles inland and show unique ways to recycle. Discover how we affect our oceans and meet some of our Ambassador animals along the way!
