Hawkins County Libraries Adjust Hours in Response to Rise in COVID-19 Cases

On July 27th, all Hawkins County Libraries will be open Monday and Wednesday from 9-5. Rogersville and Church Hill branches will be open Fridays 9-5 as well. The change in service hours is a result of the increase in the number of COVID-19 cases in Hawkins County.

Curbside services include pick-up and drop-off of library materials that patrons can request by either calling their local library or using the online materials reservation system. To ensure the safety of the public, all returned library materials are quarantined for 72 hours before they are allowed to be checked out again.

Branches are also offering Summer Reading Programs with activities and prizes through curbside service. Patrons can learn more about the Summer Reading Program by contacting their local branch.

Patrons needing copies or faxes can email the information to the branch for printing/faxing and pick them up through curbside service as well.

Internet access is available 24/7 in all parking lots of the library using the libraries’ wi-fi system.

Contact your local branch for more information all the services available.
